So sorry .....

WOW, it occurred to me when I read my blog , It seamed more like an add. well its really not, I am just so new to blogging--and gathering my thoughts. I wanted this to be more like a how too, than a look at my product. So I with my deepest apologies, I am sorry. I will in the future this will not happen.
On the good side of my post I did figure out how to keep it together and add pictures. So something positive came of my boo boo.

The thing about making your own gift baskets, You put the things you want in them. Personalize your basket with your stile. Shop at stores that fit your budget. Dollar store or the high end stores. Put a handmade item in.  It is the thought that counts. Your basket will be remembered, You put effort and thought into the gift for them.
Gift giving can be hard. Racking your brain , what to give, how much to spend, colors, size, will they like it.  As a safe way out the ole gift card, well , I am hoping to help with gift giving, and make it a tad bit easier.  The rule I go by is  K.I.S.S  Keep It simple sweetheart.

1. Gender
2. Age
3.Occasion.
4.Time---One hour,a day, week, month?
5.Location , can it be given in person or does it need to be shipped.
6. How well do you know the person?

I am making a wedding basket for my neighbors son. I don't know the bride. My mission to create a basket that both the bride and groom will use. Plan of action ~~ K.I.S.S. The  happy couple both like black.  Easy  to find stuff in black., Can't go wrong with kitchen gear.
Found a dish pan in black. This will be my basket.  2 dish  towels. 2 pot holders. 1 oven mitt. Package of wooden spoons. 3 -piece votive candle holder set. 3 blue votive candles. ( bride likes blue too.)  Set of 4  Flute glasses. So far , I have a good start, I will add more.

Wedding gifts can be  a bit weird   , Most brides are registered at some sort of store, this can be a big help. In staying with  K.I.S.S (Keep it simple sweetheart )  I tend to go for the little and simple gadgets. Wooden spoons, Hand can opener, Key punch--church key-- Bottle opener, corn cob handles, toothpicks,  serving utensils, salt n pepper shakers, Tea towels, oven mitt, pot holders , The things that we all use that don't cost a lot but add up.
